democrats are pot smoking, anti-God, baby killers?
Rita: Remind me why you think being a democrat is more Christian than being a republican? I've heard some pretty ridiculous things tonight about the state of the union address.
Ben: Feeding each other, healing the sick even if they are poor, and rooting out hatred in unequal hiring practices. Sound vaguely familiar to what we as Christians should be doing?
Ben: Sure, the Bible doesn't say that we should create programs to do these things, churches should. But we've been giving churches our money for 200 years and all they have done is buy half-million dollar sound systems and put out magazines.
Rita: I wish you could have been a part of the dinner conversation tonight.
